Our Yoga for Cyclists classes strengthen key areas of the body while alleviating muscle tightness. We design these classes to be responsive to the needs and demands of the cyclist body and mind in each phase of the training cycle. Classes include instruction on yoga postures, as well as insights into how they align with cycling concepts. Appropriate for beginners and anyone who wants to learn how yoga can directly help improve their cycling.
We have a combined 32 years of yoga experience between us, specializing in yoga for athletes. Lisa received her teaching certification from Atmananda Yoga & Holistic Center in New York City in 2002 and is influenced by Iyengar and Jivamukti. Kristen received her teaching certification in 2009 from Open Space Yoga in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is influenced primarily by Sri Dharma Mittra. We are well versed in all major styles of yoga, and have extensive personal and professional experience relating yoga practices to cycling.
We are not offering any regularly scheduled classes in Winter 2018. Private sessions are available.
